Heatherly Davis Granaroli, Owner and Trainer

Heatherly Davis Granaroli

Heatherly Davis has numerous wins and championships in the hunter, jumper and equitation ring both as a junior and an amateur. She started her formal education as a child with Rob Gage and Cyndi Merritt. She then moved on to Foxfield Riding School where she put down roots. Foxfield gave her a strong foundation in the basic fundamentals of riding. She learned you get out what you put in…and in order to succeed you must work hard, ride every horse you can, never complain and never stop learning!

Heatherly has always been passionate for equitation. After riding and working for exclusively for Foxfield for over 15 years, she moved on to train and clinic with other trainers to gain more education with the technical medal courses. This education helped her win many equitation and medal classes finishing with championships and top ten in medal finals.

Heatherly has also had a successful career of breeding and raising young horses. She learned the importance of consistent, patient training needed to bring along the young horses from the ground into the show ring. With a partnership in the famous hunter stallion Alla Czar, Heatherly produced several USEF, PCHA, and LAHSA champions, such as Millennium, Mieux Czar and Laissez Faire. Other breedings included her baby that is the 2005 USEF Medium Green Champion Pony Macy Grey and still successfully competing. She could be seen jogging in the top ribbons in the rated medium division at Capital Challenge 2013.

Through the years, Heatherly has also been fortunate to clinic with several world-renowned trainers. Among them are Bert DeNemethy, Victor Hugo-Vidal, Greg Best, Susie Hutchison, Anne Kursinski, Kip Rosenthal, Michael Page, Meg Schulman, Melanie Smith to name a few. Even after turning professional, Heatherly continues her education through various clinics and training sessions.

As a professional, Heatherly has had much success at the local, regional and national level. She goes to “B” shows as well as the “AA”  shows.
